The Peninsula School District is a proud participant of the Washington State Council of Presidents Guaranteed Admissions Program (GAP), which offers the opportunity for 11th and 12th grade students to apply to in-state colleges and universities with guaranteed admission. 

Juniors at Gig Harbor, Peninsula, or Henderson Bay high schools can now apply to the program and hear back from participating colleges and universities during their senior year. Students can qualify for guaranteed admission if they have a minimum 3.0 GPA and are on track to complete the College Academic Distribution Requirements.

Gig Harbor High School, Peninsula High School, and Henderson Bay High School will host the PSAT in October. This exam is designed to help sophomores and juniors prepare for the SAT, qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program, and college and careers after high school.

The PSAT will be held on these dates: 

  • Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022 at Peninsula High School; and 
  • Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 at Gig Harbor High School and Henderson Bay High School.

Plan ahead for your student's future, learn about post-graduation opportunities, and get your questions answered at the 2022 College and Career Fair.

  • The first fair event is from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Gig Harbor High School.
  • The second fair event is from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Peninsula High School.

PSD is hosting the college and career fair twice this fall for all families with 6th through 12th grade students. Over 50 colleges and vendors will be available to offer assistance, information, and answer your questions.

Fishbowl is back! Learn how to get your tickets!

Fishbowl is back with cheering crowds in the stands! The Tides and Seahawks football teams face off and we are excited to see our students, parents, and community members showing their PHS and GHHS pride during one of our schools’ treasured traditions. 

This year’s Fishbowl game will be held at Roy Anderson Field on Friday, Sept. 16. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and kick off is at 7 p.m.
